Ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang meets with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Serimaya of Vanuatu

On August 7, 2024, Ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Serimaya of Vanuatu. Ambassador Li introduced the visit of Prime Minister Salvi to China and stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China and Vanuatu have begun to deepen all-weather and all-round friendly cooperation, and work together to build a new chapter of a community with a shared future for China and Vanuatu in the new era.

China is willing to work with Vanuatu to promote the implementation of the visit results, strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation bond, and help Vanuatu achieve prosperity and happiness for its people. Serimaya stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vanuatu and China 42 years ago, the friendly relations between the two countries have been healthy and strong. The Vanuatu side thanks China for providing sincere assistance over the long term and is willing to take Prime Minister Salvi's successful visit to China as an opportunity to strengthen the alignment of development strategies with China, promote pragmatic cooperation in various fields, learn from China's governance and development experience, and continuously push Vanuatu China relations to a new level.
